Pumpkin spice defines the fall season for me. Every fall, I excitedly whip up my homemade pumpkin spice and proceed to include it in everything I can. I spent hours coming up with the perfect blend, and can’t fathom using store-bought again. I regularly receive requests from family and friends this time of year, and happily prepare it for them. Yesterday, I was whipping some up for one of my dearest friends, who always gives me gentle reminders, lol, and I suddenly realized I haven’t shared this recipe in over 3 years. Could there be a more perfect time to share it, with the first hints of fall all around us? Can you tell I am crazy about fall? 😉 I sincerely hope you enjoy my spice blend and it adds a little more happiness to your fall season! Did I mention, it is incredibly easy to make?
Happy fall! 😀

I am thrilled to bring my pumpkin spice blend to Fiesta Friday #245! Your amazing co-hosts are Liz @ spadesspatulasandspoons.com and Deb @ Pantry Portfolio.
Divine! I think I’ll bake a pumpkin pie! 😊🍁
Yum! Thank you, have a great day! 😀
You too, thank you for the recipe.
I hope you enjoy it! 😀
This sounds lovely! I will try it
Thank you so much, Lynn! I hope you have been doing well!
I have been pretty good, how about all of you?
I’m glad, I hope you’ve been working on your book. I will be by to catch up soon. We’re doing good, thank you, just super busy. My blog always suffers… I hope you are having a nice start to your week.
Thank you Antonia! I am sure you are busy!
😀
Yum! Thanks for sharing your recipe. It all looks wonderful. I can almost smell them!
Thank you, Deborah! There is nothing like pumpkin spice! Have a great weekend!
I make my own pumpkin spice blend as well! I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂 I agree with you about the ground nutmeg 100% That is actually the only kind that I use whenever I bake. I thin it makes a huge difference! Your friend are lucky to get some of your special blend!
There is nothing that can come close! Ground nutmeg is a must, isn’t it? Happy fall baking, my friend! 😀
I make my own, too! Ditto on the freshly ground nutmeg, absolutely can’t stand the jarred ground nutmeg! I like the addition of raw sugar in this, my recipe doesn’t include any. I’ll be making lots of it soon, to give to my friends. How lucky are they?!
I can’t either, jarred ground nutmeg tastes and even looks so different. It is worth the extra time and makes everything taste better. I really like the raw sugar in mine. I just made 5 batches this past weekend. I agree, our friends are lucky, lol! 😉 Have an awesome Wednesday! 😀
I’m obsessed with everything pumpkin spice at the moment! I go nuts with it and then purge until autumn comes around again. There’s something so comforting about warm spices at this time of year. Wonderful! 🙂
I am the same way, I can’t get enough of it this time of year! My son loves it too, and doesn’t want me giving any away, lol! ;D
I can understand why! I hope you have a great Halloween! 🙂
Happy Halloween to you as well! 😀
Thank you! I hope you had a great time! 🙂
Thank you, Anita! 😀
This pumpkin spice sounds great! I haven’t made my own spice blends yet but I’m sure making them yourself is so much better than store-bought!
Thank you, Nancy! Have a great week! 😀
I used to make this, as well as instant coffee blends, for friends at the holidays. Sigh. This sounds delicious.
Thanks, Jacqui! The instant coffee blends sound so interesting. Were they flavored with spices? Happy Thanksgiving!
