The Little Kitchen Painting

Kitchen Painting

It’s time for Tuesday Tips and Tidbits!

A few years ago, I went to one of those paint and wine places with a few colleagues.  We were supposed to paint fireworks, but I decided to paint more flower-like fireworks.  It is the first time I had ever painted and I was amazed I could actually paint something.  Those places will make anyone feel like an artist for an hour, right?  I was proud though.  My husband liked it so much, he hung it in our kitchen.  I am really happy that I could create something that hangs on our wall.  Everyday when I am in the kitchen, I look over at it and smile.  I love that it hangs in one of my favorite places in the world….my kitchen 🙂

That’s so pretty! I’ve yet to do one of those wine/paint nights, but I’d really like to soon. Sounds like fun. In the meantime I guess I could take out the kids’ paints after they go to bed and paint my own thing lol

Thank you Cynthia! I didn’t know I would enjoy it as much as I did. I hope you get a chance to try it. Too funny! 😆

I’m completely impressed Antonia! I’m quite artistically challenged myself, but I’ve always thought that taking one of those painting + wine classes would be fun.

I think you did an excellent job! The colors are so vibrant and you mixed them beautifully as to create the impression of colorful spinning pinwheels. The choice of that blue as background is just perfect and the way you painted reminds me of a boreal aurora.
Mmh … never heard of wine/paint places. Very interesting!
