S’mores Pops (S’mores on a Stick)

Jump to recipe

smoresnewmainR

My daughter loves s’mores, so I decided to make something inspired by s’mores for Valentine’s this year.  I also wanted to make something she could help me create.  We decided to put our creation on a stick, because, well what kid doesn’t like treats on sticks, right?

We decided to make heart shaped graham crackers.  It took a few tries, but my heart shaped fondant cutter ended up doing the trick.  After I cut the graham crackers, we melted some chocolate and started experimenting.  In the end, we decided to dip the marshmallow in chocolate and then affix the graham cracker.  We waited anxiously for several hours, and then came the moment of truth.  We were both thrilled with how yummy they were  and especially how the graham cracker stayed attached to the marshmallow, even after biting into it.  My daughter had no problem being the guinea pig.  She is such a team player…lol!  That afternoon, we made a big batch to test our process and recipe.  We had so much fun creating this recipe, and even more fun eating them.  Did I mention that my husband also had fun…not making them, but devouring them 😉

These s’mores pops are truly delicious, easy to make, and a perfect way to eat s’mores with your Valentine.  I hope you make these part of your Valentine’s Day 🙂

These look amazing, and what a great name (smores) for such a moreish treat! I admit, I’d never heard of them before. A great idea for Valentine’s Day, too.

Thanks Millie! They are a very popular camping treat, where you roast the marshmallows and put in between 2 graham crackers with some chocolate. This is a fun way to eat them without all the mess and the campfire 😉

    Right! No kid on earth!
You and your little one did an amazing job! They look awesome. I’ll show your post to Her Majesty when she gets back from school. She adores S’mores. She likes to experiment in the kitchen and she has a huge sweet tooth. I’m pretty sure these beauties on a stick will be next on her list! 🙂
