This week’s tip: Put a cheesy surprise in your tomato soup!
Tomato soup is creamy and delicious, and is even better with cheese! I like adding a cheesy surprise to my tomato soup right before I serve it. Read more below.
Cut up your favorite cheese into small cubes, and place it in the bottom of an empty bowl. Then pour the hot soup over the cheese. Don’t stir the cheese into the soup, just let the cubes remain intact. This enables you to have bites of melty cheese, while the soup maintains its original flavor. It is really a delicious way to eat tomato soup. Good cheese to use are feta, Gruyère, farmers cheese, asiago cheese, etc. So, go ahead and surprise your tomato soup with cheese 🙂
