Garlic Knots

Garlic Knots

Years ago, we used to go to a pizza place that would serve the most amazing garlic knots.  One day, I was watching the cook take the knots directly from the oven and then toss them with butter, garlic, and parsley.  I just had to try it at home.  I decided to make them with extra virgin olive oil, and use my pizza dough recipe.  They were so good, my family has to have them when I make pizza now.  We usually eat them while I am getting the pizza ready to put in the oven. They are super simple to make, and you can make your own pizza dough, or use store-bought.  All you need is pizza dough, garlic, olive oil, and fresh parsley.  They are truly delicious.

I am excited to bring my garlic knots to Fiesta Friday #162!  Your amazing co-hosts this week are Sarah @ Tales From The Kitchen Shed and Liz @ Spades, Spatulas, and Spoons.

I am totally with you, they go down too easily 😉 It is hard to resist them when they are hot and just tossed in the oil. Have a great day!

Oh yum! Those would be great with Spaghetti, or any pasta dish too I think. Dangerous to my waist line me thinks. These morsels would be too easy to pop in my mouth one right after another! 🙂

Yes, very dangerous! Luckily, my daughter and husband eat them so fast, I don’t eat as many as I would. 😉 I need to make them with spaghetti now! Have a fabulous day 😀

Garlic knots are a favorite of mine! I’ve never attempted to make them at home but you make it sound so easy Antonia! I love that you can simply use half the pizza dough recipe for the pizza and half for the garlic knots… the best of both worlds 🙂

Antonia– these are so so pretty on the plate! And I think you’re right –they’d be the best right out of the oven! Think they’d be delish with a big pot of soup. I have a pizza recipe– but going to check yours to compare–might get some good tips! thanks bunches. Happy weekend!
